SEW-EURODRIVE Wins Big at German Customer Satisfaction Awards

By Stefan Brill

Germany’s most customer-oriented drive manufacturer

At SEW-EURODRIVE, the customer is the focus. And that is more than just wishful thinking: the results of the "Germany's Customer Champions 2009" competition show once again that this is a corporate philosophy that is well practiced. SEW-EURODRIVE was able to improve on its position in last year's competition, climbing to 2nd place among Germany's 50 best-rated companies. SEW-EURODRIVE also took the special awards for best B2B company, best company with more than 500 employees, and best producing company.

According to a recent study conducted by "impulse" business magazine, the German Society for Quality (DGQ), and the Mainz-based market researcher "forum!", SEW-EURODRIVE is among the 50 most outstanding German companies in the area of customer management. By reaching 2nd place, SEW-EURODRIVE has clearly shown itself to be a role model for customer orientation and customer relations. The fact that SEW-EURODRIVE competed against B2C companies makes the excellent result even more impressive. For this reason, SEW-EURODRIVE also took the special awards for best B2B company, best manufacturing company, and best company with more than 500 employees.

The study was conducted as part of a Germany-wide competition that awarded the 50 most customer-oriented companies the title Deutschlands Kundenchampion 2009 ("Germany's Customer Champion 2009").

In a multi-level process, the participating companies were evaluated from the perspective of both customers and experts. The company's own internal perspective was also considered and evaluated for the study. Companies were evaluated based on responses to customer and employee surveys and the judgment of experts. SEW-EURODRIVE was able to impress with its extraordinary customer management.
